This week's blog I named "Misery"
mis·er·y
-
a state or feeling of great distress or discomfort of mind or body:"She went upstairs and cried in misery" · "he wrote endlessly about his frustrations and miseries."
I started this week very miserable and ready to give up!
I woke up Tuesday morning thinking I was going to contact my instructor and say, "I'm sorry, I need to drop this class; I have way too much going on, and I've been spreading myself too thin!"
I've been feeling under the weather for about 2 weeks; I've had multiple doctor appointments, ex-rays, tax issues, deaths in the family, car issues, kids with casts & strep, computer problems, student incidents, financial troubles, and I just feel "down" and behind in every aspect of my life. I'm sure you get the point, or you're sick of hearing about all my challenges if you read my last posts.
I named this blog "Buildski" and I've built nothing but complaints & excuses!
Well this ends now! Not this class... but this feeling sorry for myself and bitching all the time.
I'm done "suffering the consequences," it's time to start enjoying the benefits!
I'm turning it around and getting back on the saddle... I'm going to remember this MISERY... but I'm going to remember in a different way!
Motivation, Inspiration, Support, Excitement, Resilience, Yolo
Motivation- I plan to start a new day and organize everything in my life with at least one thing a day!
Inspiration- I found some today reading other students blogs. I plan to find something that inspires me every day.
Support- I used to tell students to follow your personal GPS (goal, plan, support) to achieve greatness and joy in their future. I always said support is the most important, and i plan to lead by example.
Excitement- I am super excited to start my new journey... My new chapter starts today, and I am super excited.
Resilience- I have the capacity to recover very quickly and realize whatever doesn't kill me... is only making me stronger!
Yolo- You only live once... and guess what? Me too! I am choosing to enjoy this ride regardless of what gets thrown at me! I chose Joy and Happiness!
