Good morning,
Again, I find myself in a sea of overwhelming emotions while creating a blog and also continuing with my portfolio. I am not yet comfortable sitting for many hours on a computer, but I've learned, "the more we struggle, the more we learn!"
I'm navigating the websites and discovering new things every minute. Today we have a 2 hour late start so it seems I have some "bonus time" to figure a couple more "tricks" and useful things out. I'm hopeful this blog post saves at the top and my next posts start to form some consistency.
I've been struggling with whether I should make this blog entirely about myself and for myself (and to sufficiently do the assignments correctly).
We just began semester 2 in the high school where I teach. We are moving to Standards based Grading and I'm learning and exploring CANVAS to update my classes, my grading, the weighting, and rubrics to all come together for cleaner and accurate digital classroom management.
I started off naming my blog "Anthony Buildski's Blog." I wanted a catchy name and I also wanted the possibly to use this platform to go public in the future. I think I changed the name back correctly, and if it's that easy, I guess I can change it back anytime I want.
How do we know the blog posts are long enough? I'd like to keep them short and sweet to keep the reader's attention, yet I want to fulfill the expectations of grading. I'm planning to explore the classroom discussions and maybe return later in the day, or week to finish my thoughts.
see ya soon.
